So we decided that since Levi did so well when we left him to go to steamboat, we should do it again =) This time we dropped him off at my parents house on our way to salida. We camped under mount princton for one night and it was beautiful. Camping is definitly more "us" than staying in hotels so I think we'll stick with that as much as possible. LEvi had a wonderful time with my mom and I hope to post pictures of that sometime, as soon as I get them =).We spent saturday sitting in a hot springs and driving around the southern part of the state. We love Salida and that whole area! It was a nice time for us especially since we've been working so hard on the house. I took the liberty of posting some of my favorite pictures. I love the NO PARKING one with the kayaks.
We love ghost towns. We tried to go out to bonanza (we've been there before) but it started raining too hard. I got a couple of pictures of an old cabin that was located a couple of miles outside of bonanza.
