Uncle Tim!

Wrestling with Tim was Levi's favorite thing to do!
wearing daddy's sweatshirt was loads of fun =)
So we had bought a pinata for Levi's birthday but then didn't have time for it...so the next best thing? Let uncle Tim and daddy destroy it (with a little help from Levi ) I should have gotten a picture of it opened up and candy and pinata all over our yard but I was too busy laughing =) I'm not sure who enjoyed it the most, probably Jason and Tim!

The day after hiking Long's peak the boys took it easy, playing cars with Levi =)

Levi had a great time with his uncle and was sad to see him leave... I was so glad we got to see him before he get's married in just a few weeks!

Long's Peak!

Jason and Tim climbed Long's peak the day after Tim arrived! They got rained on, snowed on and almost blown away but they had a blast doing it. I was a little jealous that I couldn't go but being 7 months pregnant does give me some limitations =)

Go Rockies!!!

We attended our first ever baseball game this summer with a bunch of people from our church. It also happened to be the same day that Jason's brother Timothy arrived for a quick visit from North Carolina. It was way to hot to be out in the sun but it was fun to be with friends and family. Levi had no interest in the game at all and just wanted to go run wild in the shade, I couldn't blame him, but I couldn't keep up either =) Jason had to do most of the supervising..
But hey Colorado won so it was worth it !!

Fun with Friends!

Levi really enjoyed swimming this summer with his little swim wings =) He got a lot more confident although he is still pretty cautious, which I don't mind....
We enjoyed lot's of time with the Kinley family this summer, here is Isaac being a little dare devil in the pool ! They had a blast together!

Levi and his buddy Austin at a "construction day" put on by our local library. They loved the tractors and digging in the dirt with the shovels too. It's been really fun having Kathleen and baby Lea around again after their months in the hospital. It's good practice for Levi to be around a baby and Kathleen and I enjoy watching the boys play together.
Playing "horsie" with Aubrey. He adores her and would do anything for her I think =)

Learning the Alphabet!

I am doing 30 minutes of Preschool time three days a week with Levi. It is going really well, he really enjoys the crafts and learning which words start with his letter. This was the first week of A. We did Ambulance, Noah's Ark, and Apples. He was very proud of himself, and I was so proud of both of us =)
Admiring his work!

Letter B! Bears, Balloons, Bible and Butterflies!
It's good practice for him to have to sit still for a while in the morning and it gives us something fun to do together =)

Photo shoot with the Speyer Family

Just a couple of my favorites from my photo shoot with Kim Park's daughter and family. We had a blast, those kiddos are super cute =)
I don't know why but I love this one, each kid doing something else. Little Mila loved to eat the grass =)
Yep, I still love feet pictures....

Birthday Boy

I had so much fun making this cake! Thanks to a job I had when I was at Ravencrest I learned how to decorate cakes =)
Tia with little Taylor Francis! Adorable
My sister Anita
The McCrea and Kinley girls

Levi really enjoyed eating his chocolate cake!
He loves toy story right now and carries the little buzz lightyear everywhere! We hear him first thing in the morning "to infidiby and beyond!!" so cute...

Levi and uncle Jon

Levi turned 3 on Aug. 7th! We ended up with 28 people in our house and it was a blast! The kids ran around wild and loved playing the games and eating the cake =) Levi got a fish tank from Jason and me and my whole family, and it was a hit! All the kiddos got excited and Levi loves his fishies. He was spoiled with so many wonderful gifts (a couple of which I'm saving for when the baby comes, ha ha...) and he loved spending time with his friends. We even managed to get to church right after the party since my wonderful sister stayed behind to clean up, thanks Anita!!
I can hardly believe that my baby is 3. I heard this saying once and totally agree, "when raising small children the years go by quick but the days are so long." It made me laugh anyway.
We are getting ready for our next little one and there are days I can hardly wait. At other times I almost panic thinking about all the things that will change and the added responsibilities but those times are few and far between.
This little one is very active and doing really well. We are so thankful to be parents and are so blessed by our children, even while in the womb. Thank you all for your prayers, we couldn't do this without them!

I'm a big boy now!

Last week Jason took Levi on a man hike! They left me sitting very contently by the river bank with my bible and journal as they hiked in Peaceful Valley. It was a wonderful afternoon for all of us! I got a much needed break and Levi got some one on one daddy time. He was so excited to carry his very own backpack with his juice, goldfish and a change of clothes in it! He is a good hiker and full of curiosity =)

A fun day at the park!

He kept sticking his hands in the water saying "all clean" and then put them in the dirt to make them dirty again and say "uh oh, they're all dirty, but I can wash them =) "
I love this one!
So serious....

Levi and I have enjoyed many wonderful days at the park this summer, Lyons has a couple of great ones right on the river!! I love summer time! It took some time but Levi finally got excited enough to wade in the river and splash around, he is pretty cautious around water, which I am actually very grateful for. I've also enjoyed spending some time with a neighbor who also has an almost 3 year old boy and is expecting her second baby in September. This has been a really good opportunity for me to share my faith as she is a non believer, and of course Levi loves having a buddy to play with!
