Ready to study!

I got this adorable desk and chair at a garage sale the other day! I can't wait to put it in Levi's new bedroom, although I did have to promise Jason that I wouldn't go and buy anything else for the house until it was done since we don't have anywhere to store stuff yet. He he...but hey for $3 how could I resist?

What a Boy!

I thought this was funny even though the picture didn't turn out the way I wanted. This morning Levi found the tissue box and tore about half of it's contents to shreds! He was very proud of himself too. It's amazing how fast he can find something to get into. I was just hanging up a shirt in the closet when I turned around and found his latest mess. I love that he is so active and independant, even if it keeps me on my toes...
Oh and I am proud to say that he is half way weaned. He still nurses in the morning and evening but throughout the day he just eats his solids and drinks his juice! We are still trying to get him to drink cow's milk but so far he's not interested.

Our House!

The house is coming along so nicely! The deck is framed, the siding is started, the windows are in and we are excited!! Jason has worked so hard and I do believe he is going to keep his promise of finishing the house sometime in October! It's hard to explain how thrilled we are. I get all giddy thinking about having a real kitchen and a bedroom for Levi and a garage for my car... God is good!
Let me explain...
Jason is sitting on the roof with a branch because he heard that in the old days in Norway the men did this as a symbol of their handiwork and to symbolize building a house out of the forrest. It's kind of goofy but it's fun too.

Beavers!!

Just some pretty plants...

The beaver's handy work!

He sure has been busy...this is just down the road from where we live, we didn't get to see the actual beaver since we couldn't stay too long with Levi but we saw his work all over the place down by the river. It was pretty amazing.

Levi enjoyed trying to eat the tall grass, Jason had to keep a good eye on him =0) That's my boy!

Panda!

You can't see it really well but he has a new tooth on top. so that makes 3! another reason that i've started the weaning process....

Levi loves his Panda that my dad got for him in China. When you ask "where is Panda?" he'll go and look for him. It is so cute to watch. I am constantly amazed at how many words this little dude understands. So far he knows: ball, panda, high five, milk, juice, nap, dadda, mamma, I'm going to get you, and probably more. It is so fun to play and show him new things every day.

Levi's Balloon!!

Levi got this balloon as a gift and he loves it! He was laughing like crazy until I brought out the video camera, then he got all quiet. Go figure...

At the pool

Yesterday my friend Abby and I took Levi to the pool. Yes that is Longs peak in the background! Levi did great, he splashed and laughed, all the while keeping a good grip on mommy. Aren't summers wonderful?

Family

Levi is 11 months old today!! He is so much fun, and entertains us all day long.

Jason's aunt Roseanne and uncle Mike came to visit this weekend and we had a nice time together, hiking, playing with Levi, visiting with friends and enjoying eachothers company.

Framing!

This is Jason pointing out the kitchen window, front entry way, and the wall that is right in front of him is the garage. He has worked very hard this week and blew me away with how much he and his 2 employees got done. They framed the entire house in just 6 days.

This is the living room facing the dirt road and hill side.

Jason and his aunt and uncle are standing in the garage.

THis shows the basement entry and the upstairs master suite and living room. The big opening is for sliding glass doors that will lead out on to a big deck.

The back portion of the house is our master suite (upstairs) and you also get a glimpse of our old house that will turn into two bedrooms, one bath and a laundry room.

Hilton news...

Well our life is never boring that is for sure. Jason has been working hard on our addition (i'll post those pictures later on). The basement is framed now and they hope to have the rest framed by the weekend and ready for trusses by early next week. It is so fun to watch it actually happen! we had to wait quite a while for the concrete to get done since we were subing it out but eventually it got done.
Levi is almost 11 months old and I can hardly believe it. He weighs 16.5 lbs and is 28" . He is still not on the growth chart for his weight but he is growing and is very healthy. He loves to eat and so far I haven't really found anything that he doesn't like, he's kind of like his daddy in that way =0)
My summer has consisted of hiking, going to the swimming pool, hanging out with my girlfriends and doing a lot of paper work for the house and business. I'm enjoying the nice weather and I love taking Levi out with me.
Time flies when you're having fun!!
