Jason built Levi this super cool loft in his bedroom! Our little climber LOVES climbing up and down the rope ladder and having his very own place. It sure is fun living with such a creative and talented man. Levi really enjoyed "helping" daddy build it and asks us all day now, "do you want to see my room? I'll show you my room!"

Brothers
Merry Christmas!
We had our very first Christmas morning just the four of us! It was amazing =) Levi was so excited about his stocking and the tree and the gifts and the huge breakfast and the promise of going to Omi's house after breakfast!
If we had known that his favorite toy was going to be the $1 light up airplane candy stick we'd not have gotten him anything else =) That is all he wanted to play with for the longest time!
We also took this year to really teach Levi about Christmas, he tells it in his own words. God's baby is Jesus but our baby is Jackson! We are truly blessed by our boys but even more so by the gift of Christ our Savior coming to earth and redeeming us.
Although we did have a wonderful Christmas we are also struggling with being sick! I got sick on tuesday before Christmas with a cold and a serious sinus infection (didn't know it was that until Friday when I went to the doc.) and then Christmas day Levi got sick with a bad cold and upset stomach and now Jason and Jackson both have the cold. I hope Jackson get's well soon, it is a little scary that he can't breath well right now. Be praying for quick recovery!!

Jackson's first week
Oh Christmas Tree oh Christmas Tree
Jackson's first outing was on Sunday when Jason, Levi and I took a nice drive. We ended up in Greeley and decided to stop and buy a Christmas tree! It is the first one we've ever bought instead of getting it out of the forest. It is beautiful and Levi loved helping me decorate it. It was a special day, Jackson slept most of the time in the car and then really enjoyed looking at the Christmas tree lights. We even got a couple of inches of snow to make the evening really special.
Can't get enough
We can't get enough of this little man. My sister Anita came up to visit and help out for a couple of days this week which was a huge help and a blessing. Jackson and Levi both loved the attention they got while mommy rested. Jackson loves being held and hates being put down which is both hard and wonderful at the same time. Of course we aren't getting much sleep at night at this point but it's worth it. Hopefully he'll adjust quickly to life out side of the womb.
Our boys!
Levi loves to cuddle with Jackson, in fact my biggest trial right now is teaching Levi to leave Jackson alone when he's sleeping in his bassinet. I'll find him in there trying to give Jackson his toys wanting to play. It's so cute but obviously counterproductive! Wow, we have BOYS! What a crazy time...
It's a BOY!!
Arriving 5 days after his due date, Jackson John Hilton made his appearance! He was born on Wednesday, November 24th at 7:20pm after a very intense but short labor. He is a big boy weighing 8lbs 8oz and is 20.5" long. He was born in the comfort of our home with only Jason and our wonderful midwife, Lisa and her daughter Amanda present. Everything went smoothly and I was so excited not to have to go to the ER for stitches this time. I owe a special thanks to Kim who came last minute to take Levi to her house while I was in labor. He had a wonderful time with her and Mike and was home in time for bed at 8:30. Levi came right up to Jackson, took his hand and shook it and said "nice to meet ya". He is very excited to be a big brother and loves to hold and kiss Jackson.
We were very surprised that we had a boy since the pregnancy was so different from Levi's but we are thrilled! My life will be crazy being outnumbered by my boys but I couldn't be happier. We are totally in love with our new son and so pleased that Levi will have a playmate.
We praise the LORD for this blessing and for answering our many prayers.
Sorry these first few pictures didn't turn out, we had the lights on low...
