wildflowers galore!

On our walk this morning, Levi and I stopped to watch a busy bee! The flowers this year are amazing due to all the rain we've been getting. Our front yard is on fire with wildflowers!

summer times and the livin's easy...

Summer has finally arrived in Colorado!! Levi beggs me all day long to go "ouside". He loves the little swing under our deck and loves to bother Aven, our golden retriever even more. The other day I found Levi sitting on Aven saying yeehaw! Too cute! Aven of course being the gentle and patient dog that she is, let him do so for quite a while. We've been enjoying going for walks, going swimming (although this has only happend once so far due to no public outdoor pools in Estes...)

eating ice cream and going on picnicks. I have been rather forgetful about taking pictures though so that's a bummer. I'll try to get better about that.

OUr summer is full of family visits, church events and birthday parties. We will have jason's aunt and uncle here next weekend, the following weekend I will be a first time wedding photographer, and the weekend after that is Levi's second birthday! Life is full!

We are also getting excited about taking a road trip to North Carolina at some point, probably end of August or so to visit friends and family.
