oma and levi

my parents came to visit for my birthday while we were in Pagosa Springs. it was a wonderful visit and i'm so thankful to have a loving family.

since day one we've heard, wow, this must be jasons son! and i can't argue. especially when i look at jasons baby pictures. they are identical!

news...

Well, most of you are already aware of our plans, but just to be sure...

we are moving to southern colorado at the end of May, beginning of June. We have spent about a year considering this move and finally made the decission to go ahead with it. It is a small town by the name of Pagosa Springs. It is located in the south west corner of Colorado. We are very excited about this, especially since it means jason gets to finally build us a real house!

the town is full of young families and has a fantastic Evangelical Free church with wich we are very pleased and can't wait to get plugged in there. You can be praying for the transition ! My parents have been very supportive even though it means being further away from them. i have really appreciated their input and am so greatful that we will at least still be in the same state.we really feel the Lord leading us in this direction and feel like it is the best thing for our little family.

My sister,Becky, got this adorable cap for levi at christmas. it was so much fun dressing him up. He didn't mind wearing it either. he's our little engineer.

Yumm...

yep we've started Levi on solids, so far his favorites are sweet potatoe and banana. He makes the funniest faces and is constantly trying to take the spoon out of my hand. He has gotten pretty good though and now can finish off his little jar in just 15 minutes! it has been fun learning this new skill but it sure has added to my laundry piles!!

this was a gift from a friend and it is so cute. a little elmo robe. this is one of levi's favorite positions, standing so he can see everything going on.

since levi loves motion so much we decided to get him a little swing. he loves it! especially since there are lights on is, his favorite distraction.

this is our two year old golden, named Aven. She loves levi already and is very protective of him. we can't wait till levi can play ball with our pup.

Levi's first friend, Olivia!

THis is my friend Amy and her daughter Olivia. Levi and Olivia were born only 11 days apart and this is the first time they got to meet. She is a doll and Levi was so interested in her. He just stared at her while Livi batted her eyelashes at him! It was so much fun to watch!

Bath Time!

levi doesn't know what to think of bath time, sometimes he smiles at me and other times he cries. And i think that i almost get as wet as he does!
