Jumpin'

Levi and his best pal, Austin, at jumpin! This is a really fun place and super cheap :) For those of you who have never been, it's a huge room filled with bouncy castles and slides and basketball hoops and more. Awesome for two rambunctious boys!

Yes we (Kathleen and I ) did fit all four kids and four car seats and two huge diaper bags into my car :) It was a fun but LOUD trip to the valley !

Nap time

This is how we found Levi sleeping the other day for nap. He is so funny in that big bed and never stays in one position for long. What a cutie pie :)

Marriage Conference

Jason and I were very blessed by a marriage conference here in Estes Park in mid-March. It was a lovely small group of about 7 couples. That weekend was one of the best weekends we've ever had in almost 8 years of marriage. It was made possible for us to go by Sam and Karen Basel who watched Levi for the weekend and by another very generous couple who paid for the whole weekend (for all the couples attending!). We learned so much, got quality time together, enjoyed having Jackson with us (we've never had time with just him before) and made some new friends. Not to mention that it was on a beautiful secluded ranch with amazing facilities!

I can't say enough good things about it!

I hope every married couple takes the time to do something like this.

Hiking with 4 small children, not a piece of cake !

Break time !

This was a while ago now but I figured you would all forgive me. Hiking in January in Estes Park, what do I say? It was cold but beatiful! Kathleen and I felt adventurous as we each carried a baby and coaxed our 3 year olds to hike by giving them mini marshmellows every few minutes :) We hiked just under 4 miles and the boys did awesome! The babies slept most of the time and were real troopers for putting up with the wind. Levi is a big time outdoors boy and didn't loose the spring in his step the whole time! I was very proud of him and I can't wait for this summer to take him out more.

My good friend Andrea is having a baby boy any day now and I am so excited for her ! I had the privilage of taking her maternity pictures a couple of weeks ago. What an adorable couple! I can't wait to meet that kiddo :)

This is little Jason in that cute sweater! Look down a couple of posts and you'll see levi in that same sweater. Don't they look so much alike? I love my boys!

Family Time

My parents came up for a couple of hours on Saturday which was such a blessing. Sometimes just having extra hands makes all the difference!

Jackson is almost 13 weeks old now and growing like a weed. He is laughing now which makes up for all the crying :) I am happy to report that he has slept through the night for the last 2 nights now which is fabulous!!

Levi still adores his little brother and is very helpful too.

I am often overwhelmed with the constant work load of having two small children but I am hoping that it will get easier soon.

Jackson's colic is slowly going away I think. He still cries more than Levi ever did and is very sensitive to dirty diapers, bubbles in his tummy and noise but overall is crying a lot less than even a couple of weeks ago.

Jason is busy busy busy at work. We are so thankful that he has work !

He is also still serving as an elder at our church and learning to be a father of two :)

I am so grateful to have him as my husband and remind me that I am not just a mother!

God has been good and faithful as always.

Tim and Anna

Last week Jason's brother Timothy and his new wife, Anna, came to see us! We had a blast hanging out, going snowshoeing, deep frying, wrestling with Levi and sightseeing.

This was Anna's first trip to Colorado so we had to show off our beautiful mountains :)

They even gave Jason and me a date night! This was our first one with out Jackson and so special. Thanks guys!

I am so excited to have another sister! I think it's safe to say that Levi had the most fun, Tim and Anna played his favorite games all weekend; hide and seek, chase, somersaults, and so much more ! I'll post more fun pictures of this visit when I get them from Anna. She was better at carrying her camera with her wherever we went ;)

Special sweater :)

Jason's mom sent us this cute sweater for Levi a couple of months ago. It is by far his favorite ! The reason it is so special is because Jason's dad bought it in Peru for Jason when he was 4 years old. It is in amazingly good shape for being 26 years old.

Levi and his best buddy Austin







January passed by in one big blur. Between all of us having colds, Jackson having colic, and Jason having more work than time to do it, I honestly don't remember much.

But still life is good. I love my boys and am so proud of them. Jackson is healthy and growing bigger every day. As of today he weighs 11lbs and is 23" long. He is a big boy and has the best smiles.

The colic has been really really hard. He doesn't have a medium cry just a full out high volume scream. This has been a huge adjustment for us since Levi was such a quiet baby.

I sometimes feel like I could just scream right along side him...

The Lord has been good though and is giving me daily doses of HIS strength and patience.

Jax does have good days and I truly LOVE them.

Keeping Levi occupied on these cold winter days is a challenge. We've been spending Tuesday mornings at music time for toddlers and on Thursdays hanging out with my friend Kathleen and her boy Austin. We take the boys to the old elementary school gym to run around and then take them swimming! They love it and it's good for them to get the energy out :)
