trains!

Levi loves trains and we found a really cheap and fun kids train in longmont! It was so much fun, well mostly for Levi, but fun for us to watch his excitement! We also went to train exhibit in Estes last month which made Levi's day =) I think we'll go again next year.

puppies!

My good friend Kim, or Ya Ya as Levi calls her, had puppies and we enjoyed them so much! Levi was very gently with them and gave them lots of kisses ! But NO I did not take one home, we have too much going on for that=) Now they have all found new homes so we had to say goodbye, Levi still asks for them though...

Hilton update...

So proud of his tower =) We've been spending a lot of time at the library this winter and Levi is becoming an expert tower builder!

Well I certainly haven't been keeping up with the blogging like I wanted to . Life seems to come in waves of craziness sometimes. That is what this winter has felt like anyways. Between all of us taking turns getting sick (Levi had his first ear infection) and trying to sell our house and oh yeah, starting my own photography company I've somehow neglected in staying in touch with all of you. Sorry!

So yes three weeks ago I started my photogrphy company. I am hoping to get a lot of clients for this summer seeing as we are a little short on work right now.

I built a website and made business cards and am working on flyers right now. We are still working on getting the studio fixed up but since that takes money we are waiting until I get some clients first. I am really excited and of course a little nervous too ! My website is http://www.creativejourneyphotography.com/ if you want to check it out and give me a call if you want to book an appointment!

Jason has been working really hard at the YMCA again building new cabins and lodges but has also been able to enjoy the snow this year, skiing in the backcountry mostly.

Levi is now 2 years and 7 months old and is a handful but a joy! He is talking so much and said his very first prayer at dinner last night! We both almost cried we were so proud of him!

My friend Kathleen has been in the hospital for a month now, on bed rest until her baby is due in 7 more weeks so Levi and I have been taking care of her 2 year old son one day a week. Levi really enjoys having a playmate and it is good patience building for me to have to wild boys running around =)

I also got a nice visit from my old Ravencrest friend, Kelly! She drove out to Colorado from California to see a bunch of people and we were lucky enough to have her here overnight! We had a blast and enjoyed some beautiful sunny weather before we got this huge snow storm. Thanks Kelly for coming to see us!

I think that's all for now so enjoy the pics!

And feel free to leave a comment =)

daddy's boy

Levi is slowly coming out of the "mommy" phase and moving into the "be like Daddy" phase. It is so cute to see him snuggle with daddy and try to impress him. He is always trying to show off for him and show him how big he is. He brings his step stool right next to jason whenever Jason is standing around and tries to be as tall as him. It is adorable!

Painting fun

Levi has really been enjoying painting lately. Too bad it takes me longer to get everything ready and then get him cleaned up afterwards than it takes him to paint. He never wants to sit for more than a few minutes. Life with a toddler, a very active toddler is never boring!

play outside 5 more minutes!

Levi's new thing is to do everything for 5 more minutes! We were outside on day in the snow and after a while I told him it was time to go in because we needed to eat lunch. This is the reaction I got when I said no to 5 more minutes (which in his mind can be up to half an hour =) ) I thought it was pretty funny how upset he got so I ran and got my camera, which made him even more mad ! Life with a two year old, what can I say?
