what is new with us

well i thought it would be nice to let everyone know what we are up to these days.
Levi is growing so fast, and developing so many new skills every day, it is so much fun to watch and be a part of that. Jason has his hands full with work, elder duties, getting ready to build our house and of course being a husband and a daddy. He is wonderful with levi and makes him laugh so hard.
i keep myself busy raising levi, housework, paperwork for the business and our house project, volunteering at church when i can and keeping up with friends and family.
we are very excited to start our house project! as long as we get our loan and the permit here soon we plan to start digging the first week of May. i can't wait to have my very own kitchen and a bedroom for levi and a guest room! We are hoping to finish by thanksgiving at the latest.

Fun with mommy

i keep hearing that i'm not in any of the pictures so i had someone take a couple of me and levi at the park. Isn't he just the cutest little boy you've ever seen? I know i'm partial but still....

a day in the park

levi enjoyed our first day in the park. His buddies, austin (sunglasses) and caleb joined us. It was so nice to enjoy the sunshine and the swings and some grown up conversation for mommy. i am excited for the summer when we can go to the park, swimming and so forth.

pulling himself up...

Levi has figured out how to pull himself up. it seems like this is all he ever wants to do now. We are very proud of him. i ended up having to move those magazines out of reach. he was just too tempted to tear them up.. boys will be boys..

first tooth!!!!

levi got his very first tooth on april 16th! we've been waiting for it for over 4 months now so we are pretty excited! you can't see it really well here but it's the bottom left tooth. levi is much happier now that it is finally out.

levi's new friend, Caleb Wynn

Our good friends, Hondo and Trisha Wynn just had a baby a couple of weeks ago. This is Caleb Gary Wynn and he is so cute! notice the nice hat he's wearing, i made that for him and it actually fits!! We are hoping Levi and Caleb will become good buddies although that might be hard when the Wynn's move to Slovenia. we sure will miss them!

powder day!

jason went skiing with our friends phil and abby the other day and had a blast! the park finally got some good snow!

Laughter is good for the soul....

Levi is a happy baby and loves to laugh. His squeal can be rather hard on the ears though. i think that his laugh is my favorite sound in the world.

being like daddy!!

levi has found out that it's fun to play with daddy's hat! he is so funny with it. Jonny, we miss you! i thought you might like to see how much your little nephew has grown since you moved to Uganda. Granbeth, i also thought that you would enjoy this!
