we have been blessed by so many people, gifts and visits and offers to babysit. i just wanted to say thank you to everyone. we really appreciate all the support, and love sharing this joy with you. We look forward to a special visit from jason's mom next weekend, i'm sure levi will be thrilled to finally meet his granbeth!

i finally caught levi's smile on camera. this is not his full on smile but it's close. i love it, i spend all day trying to make him smile. he likes the mornings best and evenings worst. jason calls this his clown outfit but i think it's cute!

well ok, so levi hasn't slept through the night since that one time, but hey one day he will...

HOORAY!!

yes, levi slept through the night last night! he is 8 weeks old now and i was so excited when he fell asleep at 10pm and didn't wake up until 5:30am ! now i can only hope and pray that it wasn't a one time fluke. he is such a good baby though i'm sure it won't take long for him to sleep through the night on a regular basis.
i wonder if people think if we have anything else going on besides levi, well we do. We have started our small group again (home church). this is our fourth year meeting together with four other couples for a bible study and prayer.
also, jason has hired two new employees for hilton construction. He will be framing a couple of cabins this winter with them at the YMCA. we are a little nervous about having employees but we are also excited about it. the LORD has been faithful to us and has blessed us in every area of our lives.

SHOTS!!

poor dear levi, he had to get his shots yesterday. He will be two months old on sunday, as hard as that is to believe! he did pretty good at the doctors. But man can he scream! So last night and this morning have been kind of rough. he has a slight fever from the vaccines and doesn't like to be put down. jason and i have been taking turns holding and comforting him.
i can't say that i really enjoyed this part of motherhood, but we do what's best for the baby right?
