A DAY IN THE LIFE OF LEVI

I wake up hungry and wet and have to scream in order to get some attention. i don't know why it is so hard for mommy to come get me, it's already 5 a.m!
i eat and then i spit up what i eat. so i eat some more...
they take my clothes off and i get so cold it makes me pee.. again. finally i'm dry and full!
ohh i'm so sleepy, but now mommy wants to play. I stare at colors and rattles, what am i supposed to do with these long arms? finally i'm wide awake and mommy wants to put me to sleep. i don't want to go to sleep, i just want to cry.
ok, i can't fight sleep forever...but i better be held the whole time i'm sleeping, don't you dare put me down!
This is my life so far. I'm always being woken up or put to sleep. Sometimes i get to go for car rides and i go for walks every day, which is my favorite way to fall asleep.
everywhere i go people stop and smile at me, especially the old ladies, how could they not? i'm the cutest baby in the world. =)
i love it when daddy comes home, he's not as tired as mommy! he plays with me and cuddles with me, but when i'm hungry he hand me to mommy-what's up with that?
so anyways, life is simple right now and i can't complain. i get held and cuddled and adored.
hmm, i bet i could get away with just about anything right now ...

he's growing...

levi was just over 6 lbs when he was born, now almost 6 weeks later he weighs 9 lbs.
we can't believe how fast he is growing! he is starting to show more interest in simple toys and stays awake longer.
oh, and let me just say, having the crib in the other room is fantastic! I got four and a half hours of sleep in a row last night. And levi only woke up one time to eat! i was so excited this morning.
we should have moved him a while ago...
anyways, more later

today i talked jason into taking the crib apart and moving it into the living room. I'm hoping this will help all three of us sleep better at night. a warning to all expectant mothers, a one bedroom house is not ideal for having a baby. At night we hear every wimper levi makes and it keeps us awake even if he is sleeping!
So my wonderful husband is working on his day off to make me happy!!
it means moving a bunch of furniture around of course.
what would i do without him?

yipee!! we are finally out of preemie clothes! (at 5 weeks). now i get to try out all the cute newborn outfits that all of our friends bought for us! I think i'm more thrilled than levi though.

Levi Timothy is here!!

Levi timothy was born on august 7th 2007!
He surprised us by coming almost 3 weeks early, healthy as ever.
He is beautiful and perfect and we can't stop staring at him.
He looks like his daddy but i insist that he has mommys hair!
He loves to be held and cuddled and seems to enjoy walks and car rides.

Sleeping, all the time... just not in the middle of the night.

Levi smiles ! I know it's not official because it's random and not as a response to anything but it still counts!
